Crystal Grids for Healthy Boundaries and Protection

- Amethyst—Amethyst and its purple coloring are beneficial in the process of transforming and transmuting negative
situations. To transform something, you must make a dramatic change in its form or atmosphere. Similarly, to transmute, you must alter or convert something into a different state. - Amber—Amber is an organic tree resin that has hardened over 30 million years. With conscious intention, amber gives you the courage to establish healthy boundaries in your relationships in all areas of your life. This fossilized resin helps you to clear out the unwanted energies from energy-sucking acquaintances, friends, colleagues, and family members. Put on an amber bracelet or other type of jewelry to create a “grid” on your body on days when you feel like to you need a bit more space between you and other people. Establish clear boundaries by surrounding yourself in a protective shield that will deflect any negative energy that comes your way.
- Black tourmaline and tourmalinated quartz—Use black tourmaline or tourmalinated quartz with intention to automatically remove unhealthy cords of attachment, or better yet to intend that the cords can’t even attach or touch you in any way in the first place. Tourmalinated quartz is clear quartz with rods of black tourmaline running through it. The
clear quartz amplifies the power of the black tourmaline. - tiger’s eye and Tiger Iron—There are four varieties of “tiger” stones in this category. The first three varieties are tiger’s eye, which naturally occurs in gold, blue, and red. Tiger’s eye is a quartz (silicon dioxide) chatoyant pseudo morph of a variety of asbestos called crocidolite. It can occur naturally, sometimes with a combination of blue and varying degrees of brown and yellow. The golden-brown color of gold tiger’s eye is caused by iron oxides that form during the decaying process. In some cases, the blue variety is dyed blue. The red in naturally occurring red tiger’s eye is caused by similar iron oxides to that found in the gold variety and further metamorphic activity cause the iron to turn
to hematite, which imparts the reddish color. (Red tiger’s eye is sometimes dyed.) The final variety in this category is tiger iron, which is a rock composed ofvarying layers of hematite, tiger’s eye, and jasper. The knowledge of the geological ingredients in tiger’s eye and tiger iron often shed light on working with the gemstone. The chatoyant, (an optical reflectance) nature of this stone deflects or pushes away potentially negative energy. Unwanted energy can be redirected or removed with clear intention with any four of these “tiger” rocks in hand. Each of the four “tiger” stones provides a specific benefit when used with intention. Tiger iron promotes courage by feeding your mind with thoughts that encourage high self-esteem. It sparks the imagination to help you think of or believe in the seemingly impossible. Red tiger’s eye amplifies your business acumen 
and triggers your inner entrepreneur, making it a perfect stone to keep on your desk. Use this stone to help you read between the lines and to be more open to perceiving the bigger picture. Gold tiger’s eye isa good companion when you are trying to remain grounded and focused on your personal goals. Blue tiger’s eye can be used to help deepen your understanding of difficult situations and people, which promotes emotional balance.
