Behaving As If The God In all Life Mattered
by Machaelle Small Wright
Machaelle Small Wright is a spiritual pioneer with the profound ability to “see” and “hear” the invisible forces of nature.
Her personal story is one of triumph, from a childhood of torment and isolation to discovery of her ability to communicate with the world of nature spirits and devas is shared in Behaving As If The God In all Life Mattered.
At “Perelandra,” her 45-acre private nature research center in Virginia, Machaelle devotes her life to understanding and demonstrating a new approach to ecological balance:
* The foundation and development of co-creative gardening
* The ecological effects of humans
* The roles of the animal, mineral, and plant kingdoms
* Humankind’s unrealized custodianship of Planet Earth
A book beyond theory, Behaving as if the God in All Life Mattered will excite the minds and capture the hearts of all who dare to dream of a dynamic world of harmony and compassionate living
About the Author
Machaelle Small Wright is a nature researcher, teacher, essence practitioner and developer, writer and co-founder of Perelandra, a nature research center in the Virginia countryside. Since 1976, she has been working directly with the overlighting intelligences in nature, widely known as devas and nature spirits, in a co-creative relationship. Co-creative gardening, co-creative health programs and co-creative science are three of her major developments.
“Perelandra Garden is another community in which Machaelle Small Wright began working exclusively with nature in about 1976 in the Blue Ridge Mountains in Virginia. By 1982, she learned and developed a strong beneficial partnership with the intelligence of nature and an organization called the “White Brotherhood.” She considered the relationship to be cocreative and educational. The Brotherhood is a group of evolved beings who hold the patterning, rhythms, design purpose, and direction through which we operate here on Earth. The intention is to help humans learn and evolve. The Perelandra Garden evolved after Machaelle’s visit to Findhorn in 1977.
The common thread among working with nature intelligences are the devic forces. A deva is a universal, intelligent force. The overlighting deva of a plant or garden holds the intellectual consciousness and architectural vision. In many ways, the devic forces are the organizers of nature. Nature spirits are a different expression of nature consciousness. The nature spirits add vitality and life to the working energy and balance. The nature spirits are not deities nor are they to be worshipped, but rather respected and treated like friends with whom we cultivate friendship and alignment. They are allies.
These gardens and visionaries have a similar mission, which is to create an awareness and develop a real relationship with the elementals, plants, and animals. Their teachings and their real-life experiences help humans to integrate the existence of the devic forces and the awareness of these kingdoms that are one with our own existence here on Planet Earth.”
