About the stone: Fluorite is calcium fluoride and crystallizes in the cubic system, often seen as well-formed octahedrons. Fluorite may be found in a large variety of colors and often contains bi-color and parti-color varieties.

Spiritual uses: Fluorite is the ultimate stone for focus, making it ideal for meditation practices. It aids in releasing the “monkey mind” (in other words, it clears out the unnecessary chatter), thereby facilitating a “no-mind” state of consciousness. Mental uses: Fluorite is the genius stone. It supports the brain in thinking through otherwise complex problems. It’s especially helpful to have nearby while working on computers. Some sources say it helps to deflect the electromagnetic fields (EMFs) from computer equipment and other electronics.
