A beauty – the hand-painted windcatcher that looks like the real thing!
This coastal-themed wind chime is tuned to a traditional Balinese scale from the exotic instruments of the Indonesian Gamelan Orchestra. The term ‘sand dollar’ is derived from the appearance of their sun-bleached shells on the beach, which reminded beachcombers of the past of a large silver coin – the old Spanish or American dollar. The windchime’s hand-painted windcatcher captures the beauty of the reefs without robbing them of their wonderful resources. Sand Dollars are treasures of the ocean, and Bali is surrounded by a vast ocean full of life. Add this treasure to your home or garden and enjoy the sights and sounds of the beach all year long.
This chime carries a lifetime tuning guarantee.
“Chanting, hymns, and drumming have been used for thousands of years in spiritual practices. Many acoustic instruments, such as drums, rattles, bells, and bowls, are used in a variety of ways to clear energy and effect change. Healthy organs and other body parts resonate in harmony with the rest of the body, but when a body part is out of harmony with the rest of the body, dis-ease exists.
All energy is vibration, and all vibration has sound. The sound shifts the vibration of a space or energy field and has a transformational effect on each of us in our daily lives as well as in the healing process. For example, when peaceful, calming music is played in a room or space, it promotes serenity and relaxation. Likewise, hearing one’s favorite song and singing along, in the car for instance, brings joy. On the other hand, hearing intense booming from another’s car at a stoplight can result in agitation. Singing has been used to soothe a baby to sleep, ease the stress of an illness or pain, and to bring more joy into one’s life. Sound and music create vibrations within and around us.
In many cultures, chanting—repetitive melodic speaking or singing of a phrase or statement (mantra)—brings focus and peace. Chanting moves energy and assists in connecting spiritually with the Divine. Chanting is a way to tune in to the frequency of love. The chanting of mantras, as practiced by Benedictine and Tibetan monks, creates an avenue for a dialogue with the Divine. This connection clears energy and transforms the vibrational frequency.” ~excerpt from Chakra Awakening: Transform Your Reality Using Crystals, Color, Aromatherapy and the Power of Positive Thought by Margaret Ann Lembo
