The Soprano Gregorian Chime has a cool, clear voice – and a beautiful tone.
Experience the inner quiet that comes from listening to the peaceful patterns of Gregorian chant. Tuned to a medieval scale, this wind chime echoes the vocal music that has been sung as a part of daily devotionals and meditation in the monasteries and churches of Western Europe for more than a thousand years. Many believe this music to have remarkable healing powers. The sound is beautiful, relaxing, and mysteriously compelling. Like the free-flowing monophonic lines of the chant, this windchime’s resonant tones will surround the listener as the sounds linger in the breeze.
All of the Woodstock Gregorian Chimes – Baritone, Tenor, Alto, Soprano, and the Little Gregorian – harmonize beautifully together.
This chime carries a lifetime tuning guarantee.
This chime was designed with a removable windcatcher that can be taken to a trophy shop, printer, or jeweler to be engraved or silk-screened.
Sound Clearing
“Chanting, hymns, and drumming have been used for thousands of years in spiritual practices. Many acoustic instruments, such as drums, rattles, bells, and bowls, are used in a variety of ways to clear energy and effect change. Healthy organs and other body parts resonate in harmony with the rest of the body, but when a body part is out of harmony with the rest of the body, dis-ease exists.
All energy is vibration, and all vibration has sound. The sound shifts the vibration of a space or energy field and has a transformational effect on each of us in our daily lives as well as in the healing process. For example, when peaceful, calming music is played in a room or space, it promotes serenity and relaxation.
Likewise, hearing one’s favorite song and singing along, in the car for instance, brings joy. On the other hand, hearing intense booming from another’s car at a stoplight can result in agitation. Singing has been used to soothe a baby to sleep, ease the stress of an illness or pain, and to bring more joy into one’s life. Sound and music create vibrations within and around us.
In many cultures, chanting—repetitive melodic speaking or singing of a phrase or statement (mantra)—brings focus and peace. Chanting moves energy and assists in connecting spiritually with the Divine. Chanting is a way to tune in to the frequency of love. The chanting of mantras, as practiced by Benedictine and Tibetan monks, creates an avenue for a dialogue with the Divine. This connection clears energy and transforms the vibrational frequency.” ~excerpt from Chakra Awakening: Transform Your Reality Using Crystals, Color, Aromatherapy and the Power of Positive Thought by Margaret Ann Lembo
