Sound Clearing
Chanting, hymns and drumming have been used for thousands of years in spiritual practices. Many acoustic instruments, such as drums, rattles, bells and bowls, are used in a variety of ways to clear energy and effect change. All energy is vibration, and all vibration has sound. Sound shifts the vibration of a space or energy field. In many cultures, chanting—repetitive melodic speaking or singing of a phrase or statement (mantra)—brings focus and peace.
