About the stone: Creedite is a relatively rare calcium-aluminum sulfate fluoride mineral that forms distinctive radiating clusters of needle-like crystals. It was first identified near the town of Creed, Colorado, from which it takes its name. Specimens are found in several countries, including Mexico, where some of the finest lavender crystals originate.
