HAPPY FATHER’S DAY
This coming Sunday, June 18 we celebrate Father’s Day. It wasn’t until June 19, 1910, that a special day was set aside to honor fathers as a national holiday in the United States. Today we celebrate Father’s Day on the third Sunday of June.
The relationship I had with my Father was extraordinary. And, when I think about the wisdom and knowledge he provided, it was unending in my life. Peace, protection, goodness, and love. He encouraged me in so many ways. Dad often said to me, “Margaret Ann, it is never too late to try something new or learn something new.” He often said, “You don’t know until you try. So try! If you need to change course, you’ll know.” Dad was a great model for me If fact; he started a brand-new business at 62 years old that is still going strong today!
