Inner Peace and Inspiration

Guidance and inspiration are always available for you. It is helpful to quiet your mind and observe your breath.
Do it now.
Take a deep breath.
Notice how your diaphragm expands when you inhale and contracts when you exhale.
Do that again.
This time close your eyes and place your attention behind the center of your forehead. Go within and continue to observe your breath. Choose inner peace and calm.
Practice this little exercise for 5 minutes – or longer if you want to!
When you open your eyes, take notice of how you feel. Are there many thoughts churning around?
If you have experienced many thoughts, stop and list everything you are thinking about. Once you have written the list, do the short breathing exercise again. Take a deep breath and observe yourself. With your eyes closed, observe where you are sitting and how you feel; uncross your legs and arms, and make it your intention to quiet your mind.
These steps toward inner peace will quiet your mind and allow inspiration and realizations to come to your awareness.
