The sandstone finish allows for a high level of detail while also creating a natural stone-like appearance. Kuan Yin is both beautiful and powerfully symbolic. A perfect companion in any home or office – a reminder of the value of compassion and mercy.

The five virtues of Kwan Yin are said to be mercy, modesty, courage, justice, and wisdom.

She typically holds a vase filled with the tears of compassion and is associated with fertility, birth, and unconditional love.

About JADE:

Spiritual uses: Due to its strong association with ancient China, jade is the perfect stone for connecting more deeply with Eastern philosophies and cultures for spiritual development. Revered by the Mayan culture, jade is a useful stone during rituals and ceremonies or as an altarpiece for prayer and meditation.

Mental uses: Jade is historically associated with good luck and beneficial results. Use this stone to change your mind, when necessary, about anything. It reminds you to think positively and stay focused on good outcomes. It is also helpful for visualizing ideas and beneficial results.

Emotional uses: Jade can assist you in uncovering the source of emotional eating. These varying tones of jade guide you to uncover why you want to eat when you are emotionally upset. Employ the jade as an amulet to realize the source of the feelings and learn to embrace and accept yourself exactly as you are.

Jade is a name for two minerals with similar toughness and appearances.  Jadeite is the more highly prized harder mineral, while Nephrite is more prolific and is softer.  Jadeite is a sodium aluminum silicate with diopside, while nephrite is magnesium, calcium silicate with the presence of iron. Nephrite is composed of interlocking fibrous crystals, while Jadeite is composed of granular crystals.”

Kuan Yin can be considered an Ascended Master:

“Ascended Master. A spiritually enlightened being who has incarnated as a human being in a past life or many past lives, such as St. Germain, Sanat Kumara, Kuthumi, Kuan Yin, Isis, or Walt Disney, to name a few. Through the process of spiritual transformation, these beings are believed to have ascended and are, therefore, directly connected to Universal wisdom and knowledge.

Divine Feminine. The universal mother, or Great Mother, is represented by any and all of the following: the Goddess, Gaia, Isis, Mary Magdalene, Mother Mary, Lady Nada, Kuan Yin, and the Asteroid Goddesses as they are represented from an astrological viewpoint (Pallas Athena, Juno, Vesta, and Ceres), and many others. The Divine Feminine represents the state of receptivity and being-ness.”
