Birch Essential Oil

About the plant: Birch is a deciduous tree reaching heights of up to 50 – 75 feet tall.

Spiritual uses: Birch oil is a good addition to diffusion blends to cleanse the aura and release toxic energy. While Archangel Raphael is associated with all the essential oils, this essential oil is one that has a stronger association because of its physical pain-relieving properties. On a spiritual level, birch cleanses negative energies accumulated in the past and present, aligning you more fully with your spiritual path. 

Mental uses: Birch fosters mental clarity.

Emotional uses: This oil energetically helps reduce inflamed states of consciousness.

For your safety: Avoid if allergic to aspirin, taking anticoagulants, or with high blood pressure. Do not use if pregnant or nursing. Do not use on children under age 19.

Interesting tidbits: The fragrance of sweet birch exudes directly from the bark of the birch tree. Native Americans used birch leaves and dried bark in purification ceremonies such as sweat lodges.
