When you come from your heart, you feel compassion and have true understanding and tolerance. The heart chakra is the epitome of Christ consciousness and Buddha consciousness. It brings to mind the energy of a bodhisattva. In Tibetan Buddhism, a bodhisattva is someone who is motivated by pure compassion and wisdom. The bodhisattva seeks enlightenment, not only for himself or herself but for all beings. Those who seek this enlightenment for others as well as themselves are often willing to suffer in order to achieve the goal. Jesus the Christ was a true bodhisattva.
