Myrrh Resin

Myrrh is a reddish-brown resin that comes from the sap of a tree.

Myrrh is a gum that is a fixative and strengthens the vibration of resins or oils it is combined with. Myrrh oil was used as an embalming agent for the deceased as well as an anointing oil/resin by the Eastern Orthodox Church.

It calls forth the Holy Spirit or Great Spirit. Adding it to a smudge blend brings the Holy Spirit into your space. Used for over 4,000 years, it has been used for varied purposes from embalming to seduction.

Myrrh Oil is available “neat” in a 1 dram bottle.

“Spiritual uses: Myrrh is especially beneficial for grounding. Use it for protection in spiritual ceremonies and rituals. Considered a biblical oil, myrrh assists you in aligning with Christ Consciousness, as well as with the wisdom of Mother Mary, Mary Magdalene (the feminine Christ), Isis (goddess of transformation and life), and the archangels.
