THE CHARACTERISTICS OF THE SOLAR PLEXUS CHAKRA
Self-confidence and self-esteem are the keywords for this energy center. The opposing force to our self-confidence are things like self-sabotage, shyness, depression and the fear of being all that we can be. In many cases, we have underlying programs running telling us that our best isn’t good enough so why even bother trying. Well, I say “pooh” to that! It’s simply an excuse. If the people of the world who have achieved great things and helped many people said these same things to themselves, where would we all be right now?
With a balanced solar plexus, you see and live in the world with joy, optimism and a positive attitude. And when you are filled with joy, it is easy to be enthusiastic, self-confident and courageous. It takes courage to shine your light brightly.
It is important to shine your light, because this encourages others to do the same. It is a selfless act as you become a role model. To encourage is to inspire someone else to have courage and confidence. Your ability to encourage encompasses holding a vision and believing in the goal. To be encouraging involves holding the space for someone to be confident or hopeful.
