Inspiration through Oracle Cards by Margaret Ann Lembo

Inspiration Through Oracle Cards

Inspiration through Oracle Cards

By Margaret Ann Lembo

Oracles have been used in many cultures, religions, political and spiritual arenas for centuries. In ancient Greece, oracles were priests and priestesses that brought through divine messages in response to specific inquiries.

How to use Oracle Cards
Start by asking your angels and guides to be part of the session. Open your heart, mind, and spirit to receive the information that will help at this moment. It is best to have a specific question or request for guidance on a particular area of your life. There is no question too mundane or too esoteric when using oracle cards.

Most questions range from six categories of life. Most people want guidance regarding love, health, money, safety, happiness, and intuition or the spiritual realm.

Shuffle the deck. As you shuffle, keep your attention on your intention and notice if there are any cards that are either “jumping” out or revealing themselves to you by the way they blend back in the deck. Pull one to three cards per question. Usually, the answer arrives within the first card.

Contemplate the artwork as well as the written words. Use the information as inspiration to shift your consciousness to focus on what you do want vs. what you don’t want. That’s the transformational aspect of using any oracle deck.

Use your imagination and action to create the reality you really want in your life.

Gemstones and the Tarot by Margaret Ann Lembo

How might crystals enhance a tarot reading?

Using crystals and gemstones for readings came to my awareness after years of assisting customers pick gemstones in my own retail store in Florida, The Crystal Garden. Customers often want to know what stone will bring them love, or which crystal will clear negativity from their lives. I recommend that they go stand before the jewelry counter or the display of tumbled stones and encourage them to allow their eyes to go to what is drawing their attention.

In a tarot card session, have the client pull gemstones from a fairly large pile of gemstones. After the client chooses the stones they are attracted to, tell them what those gemstones are for and often offer them a book about stones to read further about what they have chosen. For example, my book, The Essential Guide to Crystals, Minerals and Stones is a perfect accompaniment to a tarot session because it provides the mental, spiritual, emotional and physical uses of the stone as well as a divination or Divine Guidance. The astonishment regarding the accuracy of what that stone represents for them in their life, truly amazes client after client.

What stones do you recommend for intuition?

My recommendation of gemstones to use for developing and enhancing intuition are amethyst, apophyllite, clear quartz, kyanite, lapis lazuli, and selenite. All of these gems amplify your ability to see the unseen, know the unknown, and hear what is not being said. With clear intention on your part, use these stones with the goal to focus on trusting your inner voice as well as the many signs and symbols available to you through your dreams and synchronistic life situations.

What’s your favorite tarot card – and what crystals are perfect for that card (and why)?

There are many favorite like the Empress, the Lovers, and the Ten of Cups. The Empress card is symbolic of the empowered female as well as the feminine entrepreneur. The Lovers is one that denotes a loving relationships or a strong partnership, and the Ten of Cups is a celebration of balanced emotions and the vibe of happily ever after. All the pink and green gemstones are aligned with all three of these tarot cards. Let’s say emerald for the Empress, Ruby for the Lovers, and Watermelon Tourmaline for the Ten of Cups.

Emerald’s affirmation: I am grateful for my prosperity. I am healthy, whole, and complete. I am successful in all of my pursuits. My actions have beneficial results for everyone.

Ruby’s affirmation: Vital life force flows vibrantly through me. I am strong and health. I am grateful for my energetic passion.

Watermelon Tourmaline’s affirmation: My heart is open to giving and receiving love. I transform the world around me through focusing my energy and intentions on Divine love.

What’s the most challenging card in the tarot deck – and which crystal would be the perfect remedy?

The Tower is a card that sometimes indicates a major change and disruption in the status quo. During times of change and potential upheaval, use calcite to assist you through the transitionary period. Affirmations are helpful to maintain awareness and intention.

With an optical calcite say this affirmation: I see life clearly now. All obstacles have fallen away.

Blue calcite helps you when you realize you need help with communication and the ability to understand others. Use this affirmation: I speak with love and kindness. I communicate softly regardless of what I need to express.

Green or pink calcite are helpful when you are experiencing a change of heart.  Use this affirmation to open your ability to accept change: I remain grounded and focused even when the world around me changes.

Orange calcite is optimal for all types of change and to really help you recognize that all change leads to better life situations. Use this affirmation: I embrace change. I create my own reality.

Evaluate Your Life Day

“Evaluate Your Life Day”

October 19

I’ve always been a big proponent of self-observation. Self-observation is an important tool to awaken one’s conscious awareness, which when activated can help one more effectively use the power of his/her thoughts to create reality. Looking internally at one’s behaviors, reactions, and actions as an interested objective observer – that is, without judgement is extremely beneficial to reaching one’s potential.

Leopardskin Jasper is the stone of self-observation. It allows you to fully recognize that your beliefs, thoughtforms, and mental energy, were imposed or established by others. This realization makes it possible to consciously decide to discard what is no longer appropriate and retain that which has a positive influence.

intentions observation moonstone Affirmation Margaret Ann Lembo

Moonstone is a stone of reflection, helping you to look within using the powerful tool of self-observation for self-improvement and spiritual growth. With this stone in hand, watch your actions and reactions to others without judgment.

I am in touch with my feelings. I honor my emotions. It is easy for me to reflect on the blessings and challenges in my life as an objective observer. My observations strengthen my spiritual nature and improve my inner foundations for knowledge and wisdom.

A Quartz crystal with a window facet aids in revealing the intention behind the intention, helping you to know your true essence beyond illusions and the masks you wear. This crystal helps you look inside yourself, and it magnifies your ability to see reflections from the people around you every day. This stone reminds you that you can learn many lessons about yourself by observing the actions of others and seeing them as a reflection of yourself.

Self-observation is an ongoing process. However, realizations will be made along the way, and once an observation is made, a shift generally occurs without much action. The observation is often accompanied by a realization that one’s beliefs and thought-forms were imposed or established by others; a conscious decision can be made to discard what is no longer appropriate and retain that which has a positive influence.

Remember, everything created is created through intention. What you place your attention on creating comes to you through repetitive thoughts and visualization.

I know you can transform your life if you choose. You can be healthier, happier, and more content.

With love and gratitude,

Do Something Nice Day

“Do Something Nice Day”

October 5

Imagine a day set aside to do something nice. I would like to think that every day we are thinking of doing something nice for our family, friends and those that cross our path.

Spreading joy and happiness might be the best way to share our goodness. Joy and happiness are contagious, and what better way to do something nice then to be the light in someone’s life.

I am calm and at peace within myself. I embrace the oneness of all life, and my peaceful attitude promotes goodwill for all. I am generous with my time, attention, and resources, and in this way, I spread love and joy.

National Fossil Day

“National Fossil Day”

October 12

National Fossil Day was established in the United States to promote the scientific and educational values of fossils. My focus is how to use crystals, minerals, rocks, gemstones, and metals in your everyday life based on metaphysical principles. The word metaphysical pertains to that which transcends the physical. In other words, metaphysics encompasses what the physical and scientific world cannot define, but we know exists.

Looking at “National Fossil Day” from a metaphysical standpoint, I thought it would be helpful to look at some fossils for their mental, spiritual, emotional and physical properties.

Jet is fossilized wood that has turned to coal. Jet quiets your mind. Use it to decompress and release the pressure on your mind. With this stone in hand, you can release any anxiety you are feeling and allow your affairs to unfold with ease. It helps you ignite the fuel for your mind to conjure creative thoughts: it also provides solutions outside the norm.

Cobra Jasper is composed of fossilized snail shell and palms. It is a grounding stone that also helps you stay focused. It gathers your thoughts and synchronizes them, and thereby you, with the rhythms of the earth. Use this stone to become aware of mental patterns or repetitive thoughts to determine if they are in alignment with the vision you have for your life.

Petrified Wood

Petrified wood teaches you that much of what you need to realize, understand, remember, or know is buried deep within your body, mind, and soul.

I know the truth in the center of myself. All the answers lie within. Ancient knowledge and wisdom are available to me. I recall my dreams when I wake and use them as tools to help guide me in my waking life.

Ammonite gemstone affirmation meme Margaret Ann Lemho

Ammonite is a fossil from an extinct group of invertebrate marine animals. The spiraling structure of this fossil provides a tool for spiraling into the center of your consciousness through various means like dream work, meditation, spiral dance, and walking a labyrinth or a medicine wheel.

Here’s to using Mother Nature in new and exciting ways.

National Good Neighbor Day

“National Good Neighbor Day”

Tomorrow, September 28 is “National Good Neighbor Day.” This holiday is timely as we are in the aftermath of both Hurricane Harvey and Irma. In the face of disaster and discomfort, we have witnessed the coming together of neighbors to support each other and lend a helping hand.

Neighbors helping neighbors is certainly not a new concept. Growing up in Brooklyn we knew our neighbors. We could count on them for support, a cup of sugar and it was a village where children could feel safe. Today, the construct of a neighborhood is different. We build fences, entertain in our backyards and maybe wave at our neighbors as we pull into our driveways. “National Good Neighbor Day” is our opportunity to recognize and appreciate our neighbors!

This day was created in the early 1970s by Becky Matson of Lakeside, Montana. President Jimmy Carter saw the value of such a day, and in 1978 he issued Proclamation 4601 and named this day “National Good Neighbor Day”.

“As our Nation struggles to build friendship among the peoples of this world, we are mindful that the noblest human concern is a concern for others. Understanding, love, and respect build cohesive families and communities. The same bonds cement our Nation and the nations of the world. For most of us, this sense of community is nurtured and expressed in our neighborhoods where we give each other an opportunity to share and feel part of a larger family…I call upon the people of the United States and interested groups and organizations to observe such day with appropriate ceremonies and activities.”

Tomorrow take a step to honor your neighbor. Perhaps it’s a tumbled stone in an organza bag, or an essential blended oil spray left on their doorstep. There are several that says I care about you!

Pink Calcite activates loving thoughts. It transforms less ideal mental musings into thoughts of self-love, thereby increasing your ability to love and receive love from others. Hold this stone when you are concentrating on thinking positive, uplifting thoughts about yourself and others.

I feel nurtured by my friends and family. I am blessed with nurturing vibrations where I go! I am gentle. All change brings more love and better life situations.

Prosperity and abundance Aromatherapy Spray

Prosperity Spray makes the perfect gift. As you think of your neighbor visualize good fortune, wealth, and abundance of goodness for them.

Tomorrow let’s challenge each other by stepping out of our comfort zone and reaching out to our neighbors!

With love and gratitude,

World Gratitude Day

World Gratitude Day

September 20

Life is about being thankful and showing gratitude. Gratitude defined is the quality of being thankful, readiness to show appreciation, and to return kindness.

I am healthy, happy, and prosperous. I am extremely lucky. Good health is mine. I am grateful for all of the gifts that come into my life. All is well. I am joyous. Life is good. I pause for a moment of gratitude!

JadeJade is historically associated with good luck and beneficial results. Use this stone to change your mind, when necessary, about anything. It reminds you to think positively and stay focused on the good outcome. It is also helpful for visualizing ideas and beneficial results.

As we celebrate World Gratitude Day, let us remember that it is important to give thanks and gratitude for every good fortune. Gratitude is a powerful tool.

Jade is associated with the Heart Chakra. The Heart Chakra is the bridge between your lower three chakras and your upper three chakras. It is the place of the “I Am” presence, the Christ consciousness, and the Buddha 2 oz Heart Chakra Aromatic Sprayconsciousness. The heart center connects us with kindness, love, compassion, tolerance, patience, understanding, and who we truly are. It is a vibration of love in alignment with goodness and gratitude.

The Heart Chakra Spray has a rose, citrus and fresh flower blend of medical grade oils. These essential oils activate a sense of comfort, clarity, and peace.

Sometimes in life we take for granted all that has been given to us. Today I challenge you to stop and think about your good fortune and take a moment to be grateful.

With love and gratitude,

September 16 marks “Collect Rocks Day”. A day very near and dear to my heart.

Crystals, minerals, rocks, metals, and gemstones have always fascinated me and I’ve come to learn how they can be powerful tools given by the earth to help me stay focused on my intentions to create and maintain positive change in my life.

People always ask me how did I get interested in crystals, minerals, and stones. I was drawn to work with quartz crystals and various minerals, rocks, and gems as part of my spiritual development and intuitive practice. The use of gemstones is wide and varied. I see them as beautiful friends from the earth, sparkling with beauty and innate vibration.

Over the years my collection has grown to include some of my favorites.

My chakras are balanced. I am aligned with the Divine. Kyanite gemstone Affirmation Meme by Margaret Ann Lembo

Kunzite helps you maintain your focus and attention on your heart chakra and love. Use this stone to imagine that all that you are, all you do, and all you attract is love. This stone emanates love and well-being, so use this vibration to telepathically transmit loving thoughts to people, places, and things to make the world a better place. It is ideal to use in circumstances with discordant words and thoughts, transforming and transmuting them into harmonious interactions.

If you find yourself disturbed by negative repetitive thoughts, work with Chrysocolla to absorb and transform your angst. With this stone in hand, imagine putting those negative thoughts into a compost pile and watch them being transformed into fertile earth to support the positive seeds planted in their place.

Rhodonite helps you to relax your mind enough so that you don’t take everything so seriously. With this stone in hand, look for and appreciate the comical aspects of mental challenges, and allow the laughter that originates within to well up and relieve pressure and uplift you mentally as well as emotionally. Rhodonite helps you connect your heart and mind.

The most important thing about working with crystals, minerals, and stones is to remember is that they are simply tools that provide you with a reminder of your intentions and goals. Just as you might light a candle to help you focus on your intention or tie a string around your finger to remember something, a gemstone can provide that same nudge. These sparkling treasures from deep within the earth can help distract you from any troubling thoughts that might be getting in the way of your progress. They remind you to focus on what you do want instead of what you don’t.
