Give Your Child Tools To Keep Bullying At Bay
Bullying can take many forms and has been part of school culture for a very long time. With the advent of social media, bullying has become one of the biggest issues in our schools. It’s a problem for both the victim and the bully. This unwanted, aggressive behavior among school aged children is alarming.
With the start of the new school year, I wanted to suggest tools that will help you and your child. The government has a website stopbullying.gov which may be helpful for you to review.
This site outlines the types of bullying, where and when bullying happens and the frequency of bullying. As the author of The Essential Guide to Aromatherapy and Vibraional Healing, The Essential Guide to Crystals, Minerals and Stones, and Color Your Life with Crystals, I offer you the following to help you and your child to have the courage to stand up to bullies.
Yellow energy is HAPPY and JOYFUL. You feel good about yourself, and you have the courage to stand up for yourself.
A lack of yellow energy may cause you to lack confidence or feel embarrassed or self-conscious. Maybe you feel left out or worry your friends don’t like you. You could find that you are jealous of your friends or school mates. You might be confused or have a hard time staying focused on your studies or projects.
Keep amber, citrine, or peridot in your pocket or school bag. Think about all the reasons you feel the way you do. Place the stone near you and imagine you have the yellow energy from the citrine and amber shining brightly around you with a bit of green to keep away jealous or negative feelings. Remind yourself that you are amazing and deserve the best. Remember balanced yellow energy can help you establish healthy boundaries, including speaking up if something is inappropriate or if you feel uncomfortable because of another person’s actions or words.
Parents and teachers always want to be sure that the children entrusted to their care are protected.
Originally created for children, Guardian Angel Spray helps all ages with known and unknown fears both at night before bedtime as well as during the day.
Use these tools to assist your child with courage and self-confidence. Having self-confidence is a firewall against bullying.
May this new school year be filled with many blessings, happiness, and peace.
With love and gratitude,
Margaret Ann Lembo
